At Britt Academy, we seek for our students to develop life skills through innovative projects

SHARK TANK

The future entrepreneurs of Britt Academy

At Britt Academy, we are convinced that learning goes beyond the classroom and that practical experiences are key to the development of our students. During March, 5th-graders demonstrated their entrepreneurial spirit in an exciting chapter of "Shark Tank," where they presented the projects they had worked on throughout the Challenge.

This challenge led them to develop essential skills for the real world: creativity, teamwork, oral expression, problem-solving, and critical thinking. From the conception of innovative products to market analysis and the definition of costs and sales strategies, each step of the process allowed them to strengthen their confidence and decision-making ability. The big day arrived when they presented their ideas to a panel of entrepreneurial parents, who provided feedback based on their own experience, further enriching the learning.

In addition to their incredible performance, our students demonstrated the impact of bilingual education by presenting their projects in English and Spanish with great confidence and professionalism. We congratulate our young entrepreneurs for their effort and dedication, and we thank the teaching staff and Britt Families who collaborated as a team and for being part of this unforgettable learning experience.

BRITT NEWS... A News Program made by our 9th-grade students:

As part of the March Challenge Closure, 9th -grade students explored the theme of "Productivity and Economy" with a challenging and enriching activity: the production of a “News Program” about hydrocarbons.

From research and information analysis to content organization and digital video editing, the students worked on every detail of their program. This project not only allowed them to delve into a key topic for global economic development but also strengthened essential skills such as communication, critical thinking, creativity, and mastery of digital tools.

The big moment arrived when they presented their news program live to Britt Families, demonstrating confidence, mastery of the topic, and great ability to convey information clearly and assertively.
