It is proven that if a student is happy and fulfilled they will thrive

At Britt, we treat all our students as individuals so we run a wide range of extra-curricular activities to enable everyone to enjoy and develop their interests.

Our school facilities and a great group of coaches and trainers mean we can also provide our students with a large variety of sports because we believe that physical health is important for mental health. Our treasured Britt soccer and swim teams have won first place in several tournaments in and outside of Playa del Carmen, and we’re proud to say they’re known for their sporting achievements and their sporting attitude.

All parents get a choice of one free activity as part of their fees, this includes two sessions a week. Of course, you have the option to increase this if you wish. Our activities for Primary children start straight after school for your convenience.

Trips & Off-Site Learning – Read More

Part of our philosophy is for our children to have a broad range of learning experiences, this includes spending time outside in the fresh air and off-site.

Frequent off-site learning activities include activities that help us reinforce our commitment to supporting UN Sustainability Goals. Playa del Carmen and Mexico in general, are blessed with outstanding natural resources and a rich history. We strive to incorporate as many outdoor opportunities within our curriculum as possible.

This means students can gain first-hand experience, making theory ‘real’ and giving them a different perspective. Trips also provide students with culturally enriching experiences, improving their knowledge of and ability to think critically, and developing an understanding of the local area, its geography, history, people and culture.
